The internal structure of the EVERLIGHT infrared receiver IRM-56384 is as follows
Receiver schematic
1. After the receiving head receives the modulated optical signal, the built-in PD generates a photocurrent, which is converted into a voltage signal by TIA, automatic gain control, bandwidth filtering, and then modulated and demodulated into an output signal.
2. The modulation and demodulation signals adapted to each receiver are different. For example, IRM56384 and IR3638T are suitable for modulated signals with more than 10 pulse widths and gap widths, while IRM-3638M3 receivers are suitable for more than 8 pulse widths and a minimum of 12 Notch width modulation signal
3. The anti-interference ability of each receiving head is different, mainly because the built-in IC has different detection effects on signals and interference sources. In some cases, it is necessary to develop a receiving head IC.
4. Each receiving head has different adaptability to the modulated signal code. For example, the IRM-3638T receiving head adaptation code is as follows:

Most receiving heads are not suitable for continuous code transmission, while IRM-3638M2 is suitable for continuous code signal transmission; IRM-V838M3/TR1 dual-head patch receiving head is especially suitable for RC6 signal code.
The receiving head is suitable for the following products (for specific applications, the corresponding model needs to be tested):
1. Audio and video equipment such as TV, VCR, DVD, CD, MD, etc.
2. Toy remote control products
3. CATV TV set top box
4. Multimedia equipment
